Festival Location, Directions & Amenities

The Kiwanis Wilderness Trail Festival takes place in downtown Christiansburg, conveniently located at Exit 114 off I-81. Use the information below to find the festival area, choose the best approach, and know what services are available once you arrive.


GPS tip: For best results, navigate to West Main Street, Christiansburg, VA (or your preferred downtown landmark), then follow festival signage and volunteer directions.


Location

Festival Area: Downtown Christiansburg

Primary Access Point: Exit 114 off Interstate 81

Directions from Interstate 81 (Exit 114)

Northbound (I-81)

Take Exit 114 and turn LEFT onto West Main Street.

Southbound (I-81)

Take Exit 114 and turn RIGHT onto West Main Street.

*Entering from the old Courthouse end of Main Street

If you need to enter from the old Courthouse end of Main Street, use this route:

  • Turn RIGHT onto Phlegar Street
  • Turn LEFT onto First Street
  • Turn LEFT onto Franklin Street
  • Turn LEFT onto West Main Street
**Getting to Hickok Street from West Main Street

To reach Hickok Street from West Main Street:

  • Turn LEFT onto Radford Road
  • Turn RIGHT onto College Street
  • Turn RIGHT onto Hickok Street

Festival Amenities

We want your day to be easy and enjoyable. Here are key amenities available throughout the festival area:

  • Information Booth (Run by Kiwanis): Your best first stop for help, directions, and general questions.
  • Toilets: Portable toilets (porta-potties) are located throughout the festival.
  • First Aid Station: Christiansburg Fire & Rescue Squad, located on the Square, is available for minor medical needs and assistance.
  • Lost & Found: Located at the Kiwanis Information Booth.
