Welcome to one of Christiansburg’s favorite traditions—an energetic, family-friendly day packed with music, vendors, kids’ activities, and community spirit. Hosted by the Kiwanis Club of Christiansburg, the festival brings neighbors together while helping support youth-focused service in our area.

Tip: Bring a chair for the music, wear comfy shoes, and come ready to wander—there’s something happening in every direction.

Fun for Kids (Free Entertainment)

The Wilderness Trail Festival is designed for families. Our kids’ area features free activities and friendly faces—so children can play, explore, and enjoy a great day downtown.

  • Inflatable Bouncy House and Slide
  • Chuckles the Clown
  • Face Painting
  • First Responder’s Equipment (hands-on learning and “see it up close” experiences)
  • Christiansburg Police Department

  • Montgomery County Sheriff’s Department

Live Music and Family Entertainment

Enjoy live entertainment throughout the day with a lively lineup of bands and performers. Whether you like to dance, relax with friends, or discover a new favorite local artist, the festival has you covered.

Two stages with multiple bands and artists performing throughout the festival.

Note: Performance schedules are posted as the festival date approaches. Check back for the stage lineup and set times.

Vendors, Food, and Things to Explore

Plan to browse, taste, and discover. The festival includes a wide mix of local makers, community organizations, and vendors—so it’s as much a “walk-around adventure” as it is an event.
