Call to Order

President Perry called the meeting to order. The meeting opened with the Pledge of Allegiance, followed by a blessing led by Ballengee.

President Perry presented our newest member Peter Hayes with his Kiwanis shirt, hat and pin.

Approval of Previous Minutes

The minutes of the September 10, 2026, meeting were submitted for approval.

• Program- No program tonight

• Committee Reports and Floor Comments 
• KWTF-Wade needs help with stage; will meet at park at 4 PM Friday to load on trailers, then go to KWTF site to set up. Need tear down crew as well—those working last few hours of the festival are asked to help with removal and storage. Cloggers won’t be performing on our new stage but they have been asked and agreed to perform in front of the stage. Early morning staff please show up at 5:30 AM.
• Awards – Perry presented certificates reflecting years of service, and service pins

  • 30 years as a member – Bruce Board
  • Legion of Honor, 50 years as members – Skip Fenton, Dubby Charlton, Mike Barber

  • The Club presented President Perry with a plaque for his service to the club. 
• New Directors and Officer Induction– Simmons installed the new Directors and Officers for the 2026-2027 term.
